External Insulation
Plaster
-
Waterproofing is achieved in rain- and water-exposed areas such as terraces and balconies through the use of WELTEZ insulation products.
-
The material is breathable.
-
It prevents condensation, mold, moisture, and sweating.
-
Due to its natural composition, it contains no carcinogenic substances.
-
Its lightweight nature protects the building from unnecessary loads.
-
It offers effective fire protection.
-
Provides both thermal and sound insulation simultaneously.
-
Thanks to its hydrophobic (water-repellent) properties, it prevents moisture accumulation on terraces.

HOW TO APPLY?
WALL PREPARATION
-
The surface to be plastered must be free of oil, dirt, dust, and paint. For special applications (rough walls), the adhesion value of the plaster can be increased if necessary.
-
For walls made of brick, pumice block, etc., it is sufficient to wet the surface and remove dust.
-
Main battens are nailed or glued and mounted according to the desired insulation thickness.
-
The wall is prepared and ready for insulation application.
-
One bag (60 liters) of plaster can cover 3 m² of wall area at 1 cm thickness.
WELTEZ PREPARATION AND APPLICATION STEPS
For 1 kg of dry WELTEZ:
-
Pour 0.225 liters of water into a clean tank to keep small components in suspension.
-
Add all 1 kg of material into the tank at once.
-
Add another 0.600 liters of water to the tank.
-
Mix the material for 3 minutes with up-and-down and circular motions.
-
Check the plaster consistency with a trowel.
-
Apply this mixture to the relevant surface by hand or machine.
-
This mixture must be used within 2 hours.
WATER RATIOS
For 1 kg of WELTEZ dry plaster (Total water: 0.825 L)
-
Step 1: 0.225 L water
-
Step 2: 0.600 L water
For 8 kg of WELTEZ dry plaster (Total water: 6.6 L)
-
Step 1: 1.8 L water
-
Step 2: 4.8 L water
For 16 kg of WELTEZ dry plaster (Total water: 13.2 L)
-
Step 1: 3.6 L water
-
Step 2: 9.6 L water
IMPORTANT NOTES
-
To ensure proper distribution of the small polymer components in the bag, all material must be poured into the tank at once.
-
The desired insulation material can be customized during the production process with polymer recipes according to the climate (hot–cold–humid–dry, etc.) and the surface type (e.g., vibrating metal factory wall).
-
The prepared mixture must be consumed within 2 hours.
-
During application, the ambient temperature should be above 5°C.
Drying Time:
-
After 8 hours (at 20°C): Weltez becomes workable.
-
After 10 days (at 20°C): Special tests can be performed.
-
After 28 days (at 20°C): Full drying (calcification) is achieved.
